Layyin was founded by Layyina Soraya, a visionary Muslim woman who believes modesty should never limit movement. The name Layyin—taken from her own name—means softness, grace, and flexibility. These values shape every design we produce.
As a mother, entrepreneur, and martial arts practitioner, Layyina found it difficult to find swimwear that truly met the standards of sharia and functionality. Many options on the market clung to the body when wet, exposed shape, or lacked safety features. Layyin was born from this personal need—then expanded to serve women, men, and children who value both modesty and performance.
